THE CITY OF TWO SUNS

Aegis Prime was never designed to become a capital. It grew around the Archive because people needed somewhere to live, somewhere to learn, and somewhere to return to.

CIVIC RECONSTRUCTION // PRIMARY ENTRY

By the height of its expansion, Aegis Prime had become one of the most recognizable civilizations in the recovered Archive.

White Aetherstone rose beside transparent Lumina Crystal. Rivers passed beneath suspended bridges. Gardens occupied terraces hundreds of meters above the water. Civil districts spread outward from the Archive in great concentric arcs.

Above it all burned two suns.

One illuminated the city. The other became part of its identity.

The people of Aegis Prime did not live beneath the Vigilant Order. They lived beside it.

Sentinels crossed the same bridges as teachers, merchants, engineers, families and children. Their ships departed from the same skyline that civilians watched from cafés along the river.

The Order protected the city. It did not own it.

ARCHIVE OBSERVATION
“The first thing visitors remembered was not the towers. It was how quiet the city became when both suns touched the river.”
